Notice is hereby given of a Special Meeting of the Board of Directors of Lord’s Point and members to be conducted on May 15th at 4pm at the LPA Community House for the purpose of conducting a membership vote regarding authorizing the Board of Directors to convey an easement to resident Karen Barbosa as part of a settlement of pending litigation. The details of the easement will be presented at the meeting.

All,

I have had requests for a copy of the proposed settlement that the membership will be voting on at the May 15th meeting regarding Lord’s Point Association V. Barbosa.   We have not been able to share that until now due to ongoing negotiations.   The final version of a proposed settlement that the board voted to approve (6 yes, 1 no and 2 absent) at an emergency meeting of the board on May 4th and re-affirmed today (May 13th) after voting to reject a counteroffer from the resident at 73 Langworthy is now available on the Lord’s Point website.

Please note that the only part of this agreement that requires a membership vote is the easement.

We will have a ballot vote. Please remember to bring your ID for when you arrive to receive your ballot.

Also, it’s still chilly in the Community House, so please come dressed for that.
