LPA Special Meeting at the Community House
June 2, 2026
5:00 PM 

Pledge of Allegiance
Roll call of the Board of Directors  

Present were: 
Peggy Roberts, Peter Chomowicz, Jen Daly McFadden, Sam Orr, Ray Thompson, Nancy Walker and Bryan Bentz.
Steven Dodd joined at 5:10. Bill Gibson joined at 5:45.

Guests included: Harold and Michele Mitchel, Geri Myers , Mike Walker, Barbara Heine, Jim Turner, Curt Brockway, Bob Biega, Maria Sylvia and Rick Dean

Sam moved to enter executive session to discuss litigation issues. Peggy seconded. Motion passed at 5:02.

Ray moved to end executive session and Steven seconded. Motion passed at 6:10.

Guests rejoined. 

Peggy moved that despite the May 30 general meeting motion being questionable, and because the membership is concerned, the board will hire a new attorney to represent LPA in the lawsuit against the owner of 73 Langworthy. Sam seconded.

The vote was as follows:

Jen – no
Sam -yes
Bill – abstain
Steven – yes
Ray – yes
Bryan – yes
Peter – abstain
Nancy – yes
Vote passed 6-1-2 

There were several comments from the guests.

Sam moved to adjourn at 6:22. Bryan seconded. Motion passed.
