The Lords Point Garden Club met at 5 PM at the Community House on 5/21/26

Those in attendance included Marilyn Renner, Denise Lemoix, Ellen Thompson, Karen Olson,Barbara Heine, Rosie Dematteo,and   Edie Morren

1. After some discussion we agreed to hold the Yard Sale on 6/20/26 -Saturday from 8 AM to Noon

2. We agreed to the following work assignments:

• June 15th 9-12noon  intake of donations and set up tables: Marilyn, Barbara, Edie and Karen
• June 16th 9-12noon  Denise, Karen
• June 17th 9-12 noon Ellen
• June 18th 9-12 noon Edie
• June 19th 9AM to 4PM Karen, Rosie, Ellen, (Possibly Candy B??)
• June 20th    8-12 noon: Marilyn, Karen, Barbara, Edie, (Possibly Janell????), Rita, Linda W.,Mary Richardson and her sister Fran. Mary Roy(from 10:30 to noon)

 Clean up:   Mary Roy , Edie Morren, Mary Richardson and her sister Fran, Pat Rinehart.
****NEED MORE VOLUNTEERS HERE WITH TRUCKS AND STRONG GUYS!

All are encouraged to reach out to people  in the neighborhood who have a truck to help transport unsold items to Johnny Cake, Good Will of Tiffany’s at the Dump.  We will post that people who donate may need to return to remove their donation if it does not sell.

Tagging items:
Edie raised the idea of having bags available for people to be given a paper bag and they can fill it for $5 each.

Those in attendance said they  would prefer to tag items with ;prices  and then in the last hour from 11 am to noon offer some discounts TBD  

Ellen Thompson will purchase the tags/stickers for pricing.  Ellen agreed to purchase the road signs advertising the Sale

Publicity:
Barbara Heine agreed to send the notice to THe Day in New London.  Barbara will also put up the 5 signs to direct people to the Sale at 29 Ashworth Ave. (i.e.The Community House)

We adjourned at 6 PM
